Families First Volunteers
Families First volunteers are vital to the success of our programs. We believe that volunteers
can make unique contributions. Through their gift of time, volunteers improve the lives of
abused and neglected children and help families prevent the cycle of abuse often receiving as
much as they give. There are many ways to make a difference, from working with children or
families on an ongoing basis to helping plan our special events and fundraisers. The
possibilities are endless. Thank you for considering helping us protect children and strengthen families!The following are just a few ways you can become involved:
As an Individual . . . .
- Share your expertise or talent
- Adopt-a-Pig through the Drive for Community $Change$
- Donate gift certificates for families.
As a Group . . . .
- Organize a drive for school supplies, new stuffed items, canned food, or other needed items for the Children's Center.
- Host an office Birthday or Holiday Party and bring gifts which will be donated to the children at Families First
As a Company . . . .
- Underwrite or print one or more of the quarterly newsletters
- Participate in Pigs on Pedestals as part of the Drive for Community $Change$
- Sponsor Dress-Down Days to benefit Families First
- Initiate or encourage an employee matching campaign
